As parents it’s important to ensure that our children feel supported as they grow up. There are various ways we can support our children to ensure they develop good mental health. Some tips include:

1. Talk openly about feelings in a way that children can understand
2. Follow a routine
3. Teach them healthy ways to cope with stress
4. Make time for play, get them moving, and have FUN
5. Watch out for signs of mental distress
6. Speak to a professional
